Modifier List

This column details which modifier lists are attached to this item.

Maximum

This is the maximum number of selections that are allowed from this list.  The ordering process will automatically move on to the next modifier list when this number is reached.  If left at the default value of 0, the system will not enforce a maximum.

Minimum

This is the minimum number of selections that are allowed from this list.  This will force the order taker to make a selection from the modifiers displayed.  If left at the default value of 0, the system will not enforce a minimum.

Sort

This is the order in which the lists will appear on the ordering screen for this menu item.  The lower the Sort number, the sooner the list will appear during the ordering process.  As sort orders are changed, the lists attached to the item in question will re-sort automatically.

Web Sort Order

This is the order in which the lists will appear on the web ordering screen for this menu item.  The lower the Sort number, the sooner the list will appear during the ordering process.  As sort orders are changed, the lists attached to the item in question will re-sort automatically.

Printing Sort Order

This is the order in which the lists will appear on the printed kitchen slips and receipts.  The lower the Sort number, the sooner the list will appear during the ordering process.  As sort orders are changed, the lists attached to the item in question will re-sort automatically.

Selections Included

This field is only used for modifier lists that allow divisions of items.  For example, if this list were Wing Sauce Choices, you could choose to have an order of 100 Wings broken down into four different flavors of 25 wings.  In this case, the Selections Included would be four.  If you were to allow additional divisions above four, then a Division Charge could apply.

Visibility

This field is only used by systems with PrISM Online Ordering.  This controls whether this list can be seen on the in store ordering screen as well as the Online Ordering menu.  By default the Visibility is set to All.  It can also be set to In-Store Only or Web Only.

Default Web Sel.:

This field is only used by systems with PrISM Online Ordering.  This allows you to choose which item in the list is selected by default in the Online Ordering menu.

Next Button

The system displays a next button at the bottom right when you are able to move to the next screen.  If this option is selected, the next button will appear even when it cannot be used.

Force Next Button

By default, the system will move you to the next modifier list automatically when you have selected the maximum number of modifiers.  If Force Next Button is checked, the system will no longer move to the next list automatically, the next button must be pressed to move on.

No Filter

This field applies to side item lists only.  It is used to override the Maximum and Selections Included fields.  It is most applicable when side substitutions are allowed, i.e. a side salad may be substituted for fries at an additional price.

Expensive Half

When this option is selected for pizza toppings, the price of a pizza will default to the most expensive half when half-toppings are ordered, i.e. if a pizza is ordered with two toppings on one half and three toppings on the second half, the pizza price will be based on the three-topping half.

Auto Show

This field will override the setting specified on the modifier list itself.  In other words, if the modifier list was set up to Auto Show when selected, checking this option on this screen will actually cause the list to not Auto Show.  Check the setup on the modifier list first before selecting this option.

Food Conversion

This field is a multiplier applied to the base portion usage amounts for each item in this modifier list if selected.

Level

Choosing a value here will set the pricing level for the selected modifier list, if applicable.  See Levels for more information.

Division Charge

This is the amount charged for any division above the Selections Included amount.

Store Rule

Store rules are only used by multi-store franchises, and even then only in very specific scenarios.  The vast majority of users can safely disregard this field.  For more information, contact Microworks Tech Support.

Screen Setup

PrISM for Windows provides a variety screen layouts, called Screen Names.  The Screen Name controls the number of buttons that physically appear on the screen, as well as whether or not the Topping Bar and/or Size Bar are shown.  Please contact Microworks Tech Support for more information.
