The Includes tab allows you to define what modifiers, or toppings, are included on a menu item.  The best example of this would be a specialty pizza that comes with cheese, sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms, etc., as its basic included items.

Each modifier that is selected as included will be displayed in a highlighted format in the Ordering Module when the item is selected.  This serves as a visual aid for order-entry personnel as to what each item includes.

The list of available modifiers is set by the "Based On" drop-down box in the upper portion of the window.  For example, the includes on a specialty pizza would be "Based On" the pizza toppings list.

Available Includes

Select the appropriate modifier includes from this list, then select the Add button to move it to the Selected Includes list.

This field represents the serving amount that is included.  For example, if this were a specialty pizza that comes with a double portion of pepperoni, the Qty amount for Pepperoni would be 2.  It serves the same function as if you were to select a double portion of a topping in the Ordering Module.

This indicates that this modifier is set to be an include.

This indicates that this modifier is optional and not required.

This option allows you to change the color of the modifier button.  If a color is manually set, the system will no longer toggle between the 'on' and 'off' colors, the modifier button will stay the color you set.
