Creating An Order


This section is intended to provide an overall picture of how the ordering process flows.  As there are many different options that may present themselves based on your menu setup, not all ordering possibilities may be covered here.  Feel free to contact Microworks Tech Support for additional help.  It may be beneficial to first print this page before continuing.



To create an order, follow these steps:

  1. From the main PrISM Ordering screen, select the appropriate ordertype button located in the bottom left corner.

  2. Select New Order.

  3. Enter in your employee number (Crew ID #).

  4. Based on the ordertype selected, one of the following will occur:

  1. Press either the Order button or Next button to continue to the main menu.

  2. Select one of the menu groups.  Depending on your menu setup, the next screen may display group sizes or menu items.

  3. Select a menu item.  Depending on your menu setup, you may be prompted for a product size before entering the menu item screen.  After you have selected a menu item, any number of the following can happen:

  1. Press the Home button located in the lower left corner of the screen.  This ensures that you at the main ordering screen.

  2. Repeat from step 6 for any additional items you would like to add to the order.

  3. When you have finished adding items to the order, press either Print or Send to save the order.  If you would like to take payment for the order now, you may choose Settle instead of Print or Send.  If applicable, the selected items will print at a specified kitchen printer and/or be displayed on a Makeline Monitor.

Congratulations! You have successfully created a new order.
